Amazon is springing a bunch of seasonal deals on shoppers. The retail giant is hosting its second-ever Big Spring Sale from Tuesday, March 25, through Monday, March 31, ushering in discounts on "end-of-season winter items" and "springtime favorites" across more than 35 categories, per its press release. Each day of the weeklong sale features "themed daily drops" on top of new limited-time offers.

The Big Spring Sale is Amazon's first major savings event of the year — and unlike its flagship summer Prime Day sale, the deals aren't exclusive to Prime members. Most of them, anyway: Prime members get access to a handful of special offers, which are identified with a "Prime Spring Deal" badge.

If you're looking for discounted Apple products, Amazon is a reliable place to grab them year-round.

However, during its Big Spring Sale, running from March 25 to 31, we're keeping our eyes peeled as even more deals go live. While the sale focuses primarily on "springtime favorites" like outdoor furniture and garden supplies, last year's inaugural BSS did bring some tech deals. Best of all, exempting a few exclusive offers, most deals are available to all customers, regardless of their Prime membership status.

So far, we have spotted deals on new releases like the M3 iPad Air, 11-inch iPad, and M4 MacBook Airs. In addition to iPads, we also found a $400 markdown on the M3 13-inch MacBook Air and $170 price cut on the Beats Studio Pro. Again, while these deals aren't officially tied to the spring sale and can be found at other times of the year, these are still solid prices for any of these items.

Apple just dropped the M4 MacBook Air, and even at full price, we think it's a really good deal. In a divergence from last year's Air pricing, Apple started its 13-inch model at just $999 — with an M4 chip and the RAM upgrades Apple gave all its laptops last fall, this is the best value we've ever seen on an Apple laptop. Amazon slashed another $50 off the price, which, while admittedly not a jaw-dropping discount, helps make a great value even better. The biggest downside to this laptop is that it might be a little short on ports for some users, and then it tops out at a 60Hz refresh rate, but if you can work with that, the M4 Air is an excellent deal.

For Apple users, the AirPods Pro are an excellent pair of noise-cancelling earbuds, with some of the best noise cancellation and sound quality in the game. As the USB-C Pros near their second year anniversary, we can't say they're without a doubt the best on the market — their battery life could be better, for instance — but their age works in their favor for this price drop down to $169.99, which certainly makes some of their flaws easier to look past. We have seen these earbuds drop to $154 during Black Friday season, but we haven't seen that deal return since, making $170 the next best deal to grab them at.

The M3 iPad Air just hit the market earlier this month, but you can already grab it for $50 off. At the time of writing, the previous generation Air costs even more on Amazon at $599 (though you can grab it on sale for $499 at Best Buy). Beyond the chip upgrade, this iPad features plenty of Apple Intelligence integration, from the Photos and Notes apps, to the Writing Tools feature that uses ChatGPT. Though we've yet to test this tablet hands-on for ourselves, the M2 Air is our favorite iPad for most people — we imagine the M3 Air will follow suit.

The Apple Watch Series 10 only came out this past fall, making this $100 off deal especially impressive. Along with its larger wide-angle OLED display, Mashable Senior Editor Stan Schroeder found this smartwatch to be lighter than its predecessors, with an ultra-fast charge time. This watch generation introduced fitness features like a depth gauge, sleep apnea detection, and a Vitals app, but it's worth noting those features aren't exclusive to the Series 10. However, if your Series 6 has been on the fritz for a while, or you've never owned an Apple Watch, $299 is a solid price to grab Apple's latest smartwatch.

One Battle After Another trailer: Leonardo DiCaprio and Paul Thomas Anderson team up for a wacky tale of revolution

Leonardo DiCaprio is on a quest to save his daughter in the trailer for One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Licorice Pizza).

Inspired by Thomas Pynchon's novel Vineland, One Battle After Another stars DiCaprio as Bob Ferguson, an ex-revolutionary who's been out of the game for a while. Case in point? His failure to remember a series of (admittedly convoluted) codes.

"Let's just not nitpick over the passwords," he says during the trailer's chaotic opening phone call.

However, as the trailer continues, it becomes understandable that Bob is so frazzled when asked for a password. He's searching for his daughter (Chase Infiniti) in the wake of an attack on his home by an old enemy. Now, he'll have to band together with his fellow former revolutionaries in order to find her.

One Battle After Another also stars Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Regina Hall, and Teyana Taylor.

One Battle After Another hits theaters Sept. 26.

Is Reddit down? Site experiences March 27 outage

Reddit ran into some problems on Thursday.

A Reddit outage started roughly between 3 and 4 p.m. ET on Thursday and is currently ongoing at the time of publication. Tens of thousands of users reported the outage on Down Detector (Note: Ziff Davis owns both Mashable and Down Detector), and this reporter can personally confirm the outage. Reddit is not working for me on either a web browser or the mobile app at the time of writing.

The outage occurred around the same time as a similar outage on X, though that one appears to have been fixed already.

Of all of the TVs that go on sale during major shopping holidays, Samsung Frame TV deals are consistently heavily sought out — and the big retailers consistently deliver.

The current window to grab a Frame TV on sale is Amazon's Big Spring Sale, where multiple sizes of The Frame are actually back down to Black Friday and Cyber Monday pricing. It's pretty sweet timing for those who've been wanting to get a new TV, but couldn't squeeze it into the budget during the holidays.

I was admittedly very late to the game when it comes to smart home adaptation. It's mostly because I've never loved the idea of my devices listening to me, but also because the benefits never felt worth the extra spend. Buying a new speaker or a bunch of plugs just because they featured app and voice control seemed superfluous. And then I got my orb.

Last Christmas, the Ikea FADO spherical table lamp was at the top of my wish list for a family gift exchange. I needed an alternative to The Big Light in my living room, and the FADO kept popping up in aesthetic home decor videos on my TikTok For You Page. It looked the coziest when it was glowing a warm amber, and I figured creators were achieving that with color-changing smart bulbs. When people learn I'm a shopping reporter their first question is always — what should I buy? I could tell them about any of the stellar tech I test daily, from headphones to e-readers, but the first thing that comes to mind, the product I'm most enthusiastic about, is one I bought myself. I love my Miele vacuum. The Miele C1 Turbo Team came into my life last year, and not to be dramatic, but it is the best purchase I ever made.

After struggling with a cordless stick vacuum for a few years, me and my partner were in agreement that we needed a replacement. Sure, it was convenient to not have to deal with cords but its suction was weak and the head was always getting tangled with dust and hair. After months of doing research, perusing r/BuyItForLife, I was finally sold on the Miele vacuum, with many users endorsing its powerful performance and longevity. While I can't testify to the latter, I can say that it's an astounding vacuum.

With a canister design, the Miele boasts insane suction that gets every little thing. In the months I've been using it, we've had no issue with tangled hair in the vacuum head. Plus it comes with a load of attachments to get at upholstery or small crevices. We have a white wool rug in our living room that stands no chance against our household traffic and cat. It sucks up every single bit of debris until our rug looks like it's been professionally cleaned.

While I'd tell you it's worth every penny, even at full price, it's down to its lowest price this year. During Amazon's Big Spring Sale, find the Miele C1 Turbo Team vacuum for $375.20, 20% off from its usual $469. That's a nice $93.80 in savings.

If you like playing daily word games like Wordle, then Hurdle is a great game to add to your routine.

There are five rounds to the game. The first round sees you trying to guess the word, with correct, misplaced, and incorrect letters shown in each guess. If you guess the correct answer, it'll take you to the next hurdle, providing the answer to the last hurdle as your first guess. This can give you several clues or none, depending on the words. For the final hurdle, every correct answer from previous hurdles is shown, with correct and misplaced letters clearly shown.

An important note is that the number of times a letter is highlighted from previous guesses does necessarily indicate the number of times that letter appears in the final hurdle.
